About me

My name is Jon. In 2017 I bought my 2015 ford focus, it has been a pretty good reliable car. I am a retired electrician, that hadn’t done much automotive mechanic work prior to retiring, (I felt that my time was better spent doing what I do, and letting a professional do what they do, if I needed work done on a vehicle). My car has over 100,000 miles on it now, and I am on a fixed income. Around 6 months ago, I started having issues with my car. They were nothing major, but rather than pay a mechanic, I started doing my own repairs. Without really intending to, after watching lots of YouTube videos and fiddling with my car, I became comfortable with doing mechanic work. I also, developed a deeper appreciation for the ford focus, they are quite good little cars in my opinion. 

I’ve now decided to buy, repair, improve, and resell ford focuses in my golden years. My business model is pretty basic. 1: I scrutinize every inch of a vehicle prior to buying it. 2: I put in a couple thousand of dollars and a couple hundred of hours enhancing it. 3: I resell it.
